NEW! For dogs and cats with fish allergies: Omega-3 EPA + DHA from microalgae oil

Pets with fish allergies have had to watch as other four-legged friends enjoyed the benefits of omega fatty acids from fish oil. Now, true equality is achieved as Nutrolin® brings a safe alternative to the market for those with allergies.

What is the difference between Nutrolin® OMEGA SENSITIVE™ and fish oil-based Nutrolin® products?

Nutrolin® OMEGA SENSITIVE™ completely replaces salmon and fish oil, but it does not contain any other nutrients, unlike the fish oil-based Nutrolin®, except for natural vitamin E.

Why are omega-3 EPA and DHA fatty acids important?

    • They support the fertility of the mother and the development of the puppy (especially omega-3 DHA).
    • They protect the joints, brains, and hearts of aging dogs and cats; preventive support is always beneficial.
    • The most important single nutrient in high concentrations for those suffering from osteoarthritis. Studies have shown that omega-3 fatty acids can reduce inflammation.
    • They support recovery and endurance in sporting dogs from one performance to the next.

    Food chain

Oil produced from microalgae is inherently pure and contains the exact same omega-3 fatty acids as fish oil.

    How are algae oils produced?

Microalgae are at the top of the ocean’s food chain. The omega-3 EPA and DHA fatty acids found in the algae first reach zooplankton and then larger fish. Microalgae have also been successfully cultivated in closed, large-scale tanks on land. The production of oil with very high levels of omega-3 EPA and DHA can be achieved through precise fermentation methods, conserving water and minimizing environmental impact. Very little processing is required, and no environmentally harmful waste is produced. Oil made from microalgae is an ecological choice that reduces overfishing and thus protects marine ecosystems..

The fish oils used in the traditional Nutrolin® products carry the Friend of the Sea certification. However, Nutrolin® OMEGA SENSITIVE™ is the greenest possible source of omega-3 EPA and DHA.

The patented Nutrolin® SKIN & COAT does not contain fish oil. All other Nutrolin® products are based on fish oil omega-3 fatty acids and other nutrients that support their effects.

Why does SKIN & COAT not contain fish oil? Because fish oil is not the best possible source of fatty acids to support natural protection of the skin.
