ina’s fashion greyhounds

Ina’s passion was obvious from the very beginning: the first thing she remembers was the face of a hound named “Flora”. Her parents are still surprised of this early memory. She experienced whelping by accident when she was home alone at the age of 11. Through the years Ina developed her passion in the breed she decided to dedicate to, The Greyhound.

For many years she worked in the fashion business. Her lifestyle didn’t allow her to breed or show but in time she decided to give up and returned to what has always been her passion. The prefix ‘Ina’s Fashion’ was born in 2006.

After living in Cyprus, Greece, the UK and Sweden she started her breeding program in Germany where she is located until today. Since 2014 she has been living with her partner Olaf Knauber. Olaf is also involved in the dog world. He is FCI judge and a former co-breeder of another greyhound kennel.

Ina’s homebred greyhounds have achieved huge appreciation at many prestigious dog shows like Westminster (USA), Morris and Essex (USA), Crufts (UK), Windsor (UK) World Dog shows, and many European International and specialty shows. In 2018 Ina’s Fashion won the Top Greyhound title in Canada, Greece and Cyprus, Top Greyhound Female in the Netherlands, Top Puppy in the UK, and many other titles. Among them are Danish Winner and Winner Amsterdam. Her latest star, as Ina calls her, Ina’s Fashion Desirable has created huge sensation from a very young age.

Among her latest wins are Junior World Winner with a Junior Group #4, Benelux Junior Winner with Junior Best in Group and 4^th Best in Show, and FCI Junior Euro Sighthound with Junior Best in Show. The breathtaking list goes on: Best of Breed and Reserve Junior Best in Show at the biggest Sighthound show in the World, several Best of Breed and Best in Group at International shows. Her famous “Aya”, at only 18 months old, has also been shown 3 times in the UK where she won 2 times Best Of Breed, a Hound Group #3 and the RCC at Crufts 2019. Surely there is much more to come and we will see many Ina’s Fashion Greyhounds in the future show rings all over the world. 

And how did Ina, who is living in Germany, find the Finnish product Nutrolin® long before the online shop was there?
